Kitchen Renovation

Rex did a great job redoing the shower surround in my bathroom and did it at a price the working man can afford. Good on Rex and his company for keeping his word and going above and beyond in his work, I would recommend him to anyone who asks!

Great experience! They turned an unused dining room into an office. Rex is easy to work with - responsive, personable, has creative ideas, is detail oriented. Thank you for turning our ideas into reality!

Rex and his team did a wonderful job converting our unused dining space into an enclosed office. They added three French doors, custom sidelights, and removed the chair rail. It looks seamlessly integrated with the rest of the house. Rex was great to work with. He had creative ideas, was very knowledgeable and explained things clearly, and was responsive to any issues/questions that came up. You can tell he takes pride in his work. We will definitely work with Artifex Construction again for future projects!

Great experience from start to finish. The siding and trim work exceeded our expectations, and the new deck turned out even better than we envisioned. The quality of the workmanship was outstanding, with great attention to detail and a finished product that completely transformed the look of our home. Just as important, the entire process was professional, organized, and stress-free. If you’re looking for someone who is honest, easy to work with, and truly cares about the final result, I can’t recommend Rex highly enough. Excellent craftsmanship, excellent communication, and tremendous value for the money.

Rex was great to work with. He really listened to what I wanted, and gave me good, constructive feedback. The work on my new deck was done quickly, and with care. If you’re looking for a deck builder with integrity, you absolutely cannot go wrong with Rex and Artifex Construction!

They did great work! Quality craftsmanship, very responsive, and got the job done quickly.

We have been so impressed with Rex and Matt as they have done several upgrades to our main level living room and kitchen including woodwork, cabinet and door changes. They communicate extremely well to keep us in the loop and also to make sure we are getting what we want. Their attention to quality is very apparent never settling or cutting corners, while using top level materials that prove to be long lasting. We have also appreciated their suggestions along the way and mentioning things we should be considering. As an example of their craftsmanship, attached is a picture of the new railing Rex finished yesterday and is now ready to be stained. I would highly recommend them.

Rex did an amazing job installing a brand new front door and screen door on our house. He even went above and beyond helping get the right materials from Builder Supply Co. highly recommend this company!

Incredible work! Rex replaced our kitchen and bathroom floors…also put up trim work in the bathroom and kitchen. His finish work is impeccable! He also replaced all of our interior doors and hinges…they are perfect. He is thorough and thoughtful.

I'll only use Artifex Contruction Inc. from now on. They completely renovated my downstairs bathroom, upstairs bathroom, water closet, and tiled my floor. They also built a gorgeous bookshelf which spans my living room wall. They're a top-tier institution. I'll be using them again in the near future to finish my mother in law house.

Artifex construction helped me with new stairs in our house as well as a deck on the back of the house. Both projects turned out super sturdy and they did quality work! 10/10 would recommend.

After my toilet leaked through the floor into the garage, Rex came to rebuild it. The vanity and shower had to be removed as well. I picked the things I wanted and they were installed professionally. Would recommend to anyone.

Rex and Matt did a great job kicking off our kitchen renovation! They removed a bump out small window and replaced it with a 7 foot window. They both brought personal and professional construction and finish work experience to the job. Personable, honest, and enjoyable to work with. I love my new window!

We recently had both our front and back doors replaced along with beautiful trim work, and we couldn’t be happier! The craftsmanship is outstanding—everything fits perfectly and looks amazing. The attention to detail on the trim really elevates the overall look of our home. The team was professional, punctual, and kept everything clean throughout the process. Highly recommend their services if you’re looking for quality work and a great experience!

We had a deck that was falling apart. Rex did an amazing job tearing it down, and building a bigger, better deck that we love using as much as we can. He made sure to use quality material and quoted us a fair price. Looking forward to working with him, again, when we remodel our bathroom.

We were fortunate enough to have Artifex construction recommended to us, for our basement remodeling. Rex traveled to Hastings to accommodate our project. His woodworking is absolutely amazing which was evident in the trim work he crafted. He is very personable, professional, and most importantly, he goes above and beyond to ensure satisfaction. We will not hesitate to have Rex direct and complete our next construction project!

The owner, Rex, is a dedicated and hardworking person. He ripped out an old floor in my basement bathroom and got new flooring in quickly and efficiently. He also came up with a good solution for our sagging bifold louvered doors around the furnace. Definitely recommend this company!
